Costs

Roman silver coin.jpg Team members are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of $25, paid by check made out to “S. Gibson”, and to fill in the application form at the same time. These should be received as soon as possible in order to ensure your place at the excavation. Full registration and payment should be undertaken by January 1st 2008 for the March 2008 season, or contact us for further details. You can register and pay the participation costs at the same time should you wish to do so. Please send all checks for registration and/or participation costs, to:

or if you prefer to make the payment by money transfer, the relevant bank details will be sent to you on registration.

The cost of participating in the Mount Zion Excavation is $250 per week. This covers the digging and training, lectures, field trips, as well as refreshments on site. Although the site is within walking distance from your hotel, those requiring transportation should make their own arrangements.

Accommodations must be booked independently by team members (please see information under “Accommodations”). The most economic choice we can suggest is to share a four-person hostel room at Beit Shmuel for $201 per person per week, but we will let you know if there are any changes regarding prices.

Please keep in mind that registration deadlines might change in the future, and could already be longer for the summer 2008 seasons.
